He finished an internship with Mr. North and purchased the business from him in 1984.

No Show/Late Cancellation Policy

We have established this policy to help us better serve our customers. We attempt to courtesy call the night before to remind those who are busy of their scheduled appointment. However, this is not always possible. So please document your appointment time when scheduled.

It is necessary for us to make appointments in order to service our customers timely and efficiently. No-shows and late-cancellations cause problems that go beyond a financial impact on our company. When an appointment is made, it takes an available time slot away from another customer. No-shows and late-cancellations delay the delivery of our service to other customers, some who have been waiting weeks for an appointment or have a repair that causes them not to be able to use their fireplace until we are able to provide their service.

A “no show” is missing a scheduled appointment or calling after 8 am on the day of your appointment to cancel. . A “late cancellation” is canceling an appointment without calling us at least 24 hours in advance of an appointment.

A charge of $25.00 will be assessed for each "late cancellation" and for each appointment that we arrive at where no "no show" a $65 service call will be applied.(If calling on the same day as the appointment after 8 am to cancel the $65 service call will apply)

Please understand that appointments are taken seriously at The Fayette Chimney Sweep as our clients count on us to be there. It is unfortunate we have to have such a policy in place, however, due to the increasing number of no shows and last minute cancellations over the years that could have been filled with waiting customers we find it necessary to have this policy to ensure our customers are serviced as timely as possible.
